HaRav Daniel Wilhelm is a תלמיד of HaRav Meir Stern, שליט”א of Yeshiva Gedola of Passaic. He also learned for 14 years in HaGoan HaRav Meir Soloveitchik’s זצ”ל Brisk. As ראש מתיבתא at Shaarei Chaim he is relentless in his quest for excellence, from the הנהלה through the תלמידים and everyone in between. His warmth endears him, and his unique talent to gauge a תלמיד’s capabilities and capitalize on them enables all תלמידים to really advance in and enjoy the learning. He has deservedly earned the respect and admiration from the entire Shaarei Chaim family and beyond for his depth and breadth of knowledge in תורה and חינוך. HaRav Yona Yaakov Lapidus was a תלמיד in Yeshivas Ner Yisroel, Mir Yerushalayim, and Kollel Avodas Levi. As מנהל of Mesivta Shaarei Chaim, he earned a valued reputation for keen intuition, perceptive understanding of בחורים and commitment to the highest standards of חנוך. He is involved in monitoring the progress of the תלמידים, offering warm חיזוק and support when needed. He attends to the details involved in the smooth running of the מתיבתא on a day-to-day basis, and readily guides and assists parent, staff and תלמידים ensuring that the מתיבתא’s ideals are realized in the most effective and agreeable way. Rav Lapidus is a much beloved, dedicated and invaluable pillar of Mesivta Shaarei Chaim.
